Suitable Scenarios

Designed for existing regenerative end-fired glass furnaces producing container glass, beverage bottles, pharmaceutical glass and tableware. It is a cost-effective upgrade solution when regenerators degrade, pull rate falls or local emission standards tighten. Suitable for glass factories in Egypt, Algeria, India and Southeast Asia undertaking furnace renovation instead of building new melting tanks.

Working Principle

The kit replaces traditional air-fuel burners. High-purity oxygen mixes with natural gas inside the burner to form a high-luminance flame. Less nitrogen in combustion reduces heat loss through flue gas. Operators tune the oxygen-gas ratio and flame shape via flow control units to stabilize melting temperature, reduce foam and improve glass homogeneity. The system can run in oxy boosting mode or as a full oxy-fuel conversion.
