Product Description
40 TPD Tableware Glass Production Line – Clear Goblet for Daily Usage
1. Product Overview

Our 40 TPD (Tonnes Per Day) Tableware Glass Production Line is a comprehensive manufacturing solution specifically configured for the high-volume production of clear, high-quality goblets and other daily-use glass tableware. This production line is designed to process soda-lime glass compositions, delivering products that combine aesthetic clarity with the durability required for everyday household use.

Glass tableware produced on this line—including goblets, tumblers, bowls, and plates—offers excellent transparency for an enhanced dining experience, good thermal resistance for both hot and cold serving, and a non-porous surface that is easy to clean. Importantly, all products are fully reusable, supporting environmental sustainability by reducing dependency on single-use disposables. The line is engineered for efficient, continuous operation to meet the demands of the modern glassware market.

2. Product Types Supported

The production line is highly versatile and can be configured to manufacture a wide range of tableware items, including but not limited to:

Product Category Examples
Tumblers Straight-sided, tapered, or curved drinking glasses
Cups & Mugs Coffee cups, tea mugs, and juice cups
Bowls Salad bowls, serving bowls, and dessert bowls
Plates & Dishes Dinner plates, side plates, and serving platters
Stemware Wine glasses, champagne flutes, and water goblets
Furnishing Glass Decorative vases, candle holders, and ornamental pieces
3. Key Features & Advantages
  • Enhanced Product Durability: The line is optimized to produce glass with improved mechanical strength and superior thermal shock resistance, ensuring a longer product lifespan.

  • Superior Surface Finish: Integration with various finishing techniques allows for a high-quality decorative surface appearance, from brilliant clarity to elegant frosted or patterned effects.

  • Efficient, Stable Production: With a daily capacity of 40 tonnes, this line offers a balanced, reliable output ideal for medium-to-large scale operations, ensuring consistent product quality.

4. Raw Material Specifications

To achieve premium quality tableware, the following main and auxiliary raw materials are required:

Main Raw Materials
Raw Material Function
Silica Sand (SiO₂) Primary glass former
Soda Ash (Na₂CO₃) Flux to reduce melting temperature
Calcite (CaCO₃) Source of Calcium Oxide (CaO) for stability
Limestone Source of Calcium Oxide (CaO)
Auxiliary Raw Materials
Auxiliary Material Function
Feldspar Source of Alumina (Al₂O₃) for durability
Boric Acid Improves thermal and chemical resistance
Barium Carbonate Enhances brilliance and refractive index
5. The Glass Melting Process – Key Physicochemical Stages

The production line follows a precise, four-stage melting process to ensure a homogeneous, bubble-free glass melt:

  1. Silicate Formation: As the batch is heated, solid-phase reactions occur, releasing gases and forming an opaque sinter composed of silicates and silica.

  2. Glass Melt Formation: The sinter melts into a liquid glass mass, though it still contains numerous bubbles and is chemically uneven.

  3. Fining (Degassing): Continuous heating reduces viscosity, allowing trapped gases and visible bubbles to rise and escape from the melt pool.

  4. Homogenization: The melt is held at a controlled elevated temperature for an extended period, allowing diffusion to eliminate striae (streaks) and achieve a uniform chemical composition throughout the glass.

6. Main Forming Equipment

The line is equipped with robust, precision-engineered machinery for efficient and accurate glass forming:

  • Gob Feeder (Serve Gob Feeder): Precisely delivers a uniform glass gob to the forming machine. Features an adjustable shear angle (RH30° - LH 90°) and is compatible with Single Gob (S.G.), Double Gob (D.G.), and Triple Gob (T.G.) configurations.

  • Glassware Press Machine: A high-performance hydraulic/pneumatic press with customizable configurations (typically 8 to 24 workstations with single, double, or triple punch heads). It integrates mechanical, electrical, and automation controls for precise moulding of various glassware.

  • Transfer Ware: Engineered for rapid and stable conveyance of finished ware from the press machine to the cross conveyor, ensuring high-speed, smooth production flow.

  • Cross Conveyor: Positioned upstream of the annealing lehr, it receives products from the transfer ware and works in sync with the stacker.

  • Stacker: Automatically pushes products from the cross conveyor into the annealing lehr. Pushing speed is regulated by an inverter drive, and the number of pushes is monitored by digital counters.

  • Annealing Lehr: A continuous, temperature-controlled tunnel kiln for annealing glassware, relieving internal stresses to ensure product strength and stability.

  • Packing Devices: A range of optional packing equipment is available to accommodate different packaging styles and requirements, from manual wrapping to fully automated case packing.
