1.Brief Description
JEFFER Engineering has designed and supplied a variety of glass melting furnaces for the customers in China and aboard.
An End-Fired Furnace (synonymously termed End-Port Furnace or Horseshoe-Fired Furnace) is an industrial thermal processing unit where combustion burners are positioned at one or both ends of the furnace chamber. Flames project horizontally along the longitudinal axis, directly heating materials within the workspace
Glass melting is a very complex process, it includes physical, chemical and physicochemical phenomena and reaction. These phenomena and reaction lead the mechanical mixed raw materials to complex melting glass liquid.
The end fired furnace has a small flame coverage area, the flame reversing brings periodic temperature fluctuation and hot spot movement.
In addition, the number of port limits the furnace width and furnace scale. End fired furnace is suitable for making all kinds of hollow products (bottles, jars, vessels, chemical instruments, bubble shells, glass tubes, etc.), pressing products and glass balls without special requirement on the quality of glass.
